Fanatics Authentic Brings the Biggest Show of the Year to Chicago

frankthomasSince the introduction of the Fanatics Authentic Sports Spectacular in early 2014, our series of sports collectibles conventions has brought together hundreds of athletes and their biggest fans. On the weekend of November 21st, we hosted our biggest show yet with appearances by over 75 athletes at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago.

Friday through Sunday, Chicago sports fans had the chance to meet athletes from across all major leagues with an awesome lineup of big name athletes such as headliners Jose Abreu, Anthony Rizzo, Madison Bumgarner, and Scottie Pippen. With appearances by legends of their sport and breakout stars, the Fanatics Authentic show hosted some of the most premier players from the NBA, MLB, NFL, and NHL. Sports icons like Ryne Sandberg, Mike Modano, Dominique Wilkins, and Reggie Jackson, along with many others made the Fanatics Sports Spectacular an event one that will be remembered forever. With a night of savings on Friday that featured roll-back pricing referred to as “Today’s Players at Yesterday’s Prices”, attendees received an athlete’s signature for the price it was during the early years of their sports careers rather than the inflated current price for 14 legendary athletes, including Chris Chelios and Pete Rose. In addition to autograph signings and photo opportunities, the Chicago show also had a Box Break Pavilion, where different companies performed live box breaks that fans could buy into and potentially score big with valuable trading cards.
