The Sports Spectacular is Heading to Philadelphia

phillyheadlinersAfter visiting a handful of other cities throughout the 2014, the Fanatics Authentic Sports Spectacular will stop in Philadelphia for the weekend of October 17th in Philadelphia, while producing a collectibles convention of new proportions with bigger names and even more exciting events. In addition to hosting the 1980 Philadelphia Phillies team for a World Champion Reunion, Fanatics Authentic will bring sports fans together with over 50 other famous athletes to provide attendees with a weekend full of family fun and unforgettable memories that is completely free.

Over the weekend of October 17th through 19th, the Sports Spectacular will take over the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks with a plethora of prominent athletes and sports fans of all loyalties for three days of events. In addition to being able to meet their favorite professional athletes in person, fans and collectors can also see the first-hand creation of their own unique autographed sports collectibles during numerous autograph sessions, attend case breaks, visit the historic collectibles showcase, and even more. Along with show headliners from the World Champion Phillies Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, and Pete Rose, over 20 members of the 1980 World Series team will come together for a championship reunion. The athlete lineup for the Fanatics Authentic Sports Spectacular also boasts prominent names from across all professional sports, including Philadelphia NFL stars Nick Foles and LeSean McCoy, Boxing legends Mike Tyson and Sugar Ray Leonard, as well as football Hall of Famers Dan Marino and Joe Montana. Aside from continuous athlete autograph signings, collectors and fans can also witness sports history at the rare baseball exhibit that features a Philadelphia Sports Legends display, the 2.8 million dollar T-206 Honus Wagner “Jumbo” baseball card, and a 100th anniversary Babe Ruth memorabilia collection.

All athletes that are schedule to attend the Fanatics Authentic Sports Spectacular in Philadelphia will be available for autograph sessions and photo opportunities all weekend long to give fans the rare chance to get up close and personal with all of their sports heroes. General admission is free for everyone each day of the show, but die-hard sports fans and serious memorabilia collectors can get the ultimate show experience with a VIP package that includes an express line bracelet that allows you to jump the line for autograph signings, in addition to free autograph and raffle tickets. In order to provide fans with treasured memories from the event the ability to take home genuine autographed sports memorabilia, Fanatics Authentic also has a number of autograph, inscription, and photo-op tickets available for purchase at different price points based on each athlete. The Philadelphia Fanatics Authentic Sports Spectacular will be held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks, which is located at 100 Station Avenue, Oaks, Pennsylvania 19456.
